How many people will my cake serve?
Everyone’s version of a cake “serving”  is different.  Unfortunately, this creates problems on how to price cakes and calculate how many servings you need for your event.  Serving sizes for cake are generally dependent on the type of event at which they are being served. 

Below is a cutting guide that demonstrates the traditional serving size for wedding and party cakes.  These cutting guides also show the servings per cake size that we use in determining your cake price.  When ordering your cake we will work with you to determine the size of cake that will fit your event.

Round Cakes serving guide 
4-Inch round cake- feeds 6 people
6-Inch round cake- feeds 14 people
8-Inch round cake- feeds 26 people
10-Inch round cake- feeds 38 people
12-Inch round cake- feeds 56 people
14-Inch round cake- feeds 76 people

4-Inch Square cake- feeds 8 people
6-Inch Square cake- feeds 18 people
8-Inch Square cake- feeds 32 people
